Vintage Persian Rug , Koliyaei Handmade Woven Wool

Koliyaei nomads are lived in the Fars province in the southwest of Persian mostly in the surroundings of Shiraz. The rugs woven in this area are known by the name of Shiraz rugs or Koliyaei rugs. They produced by nomadic tribal weavers, and are famous for their unique designs and colors, most of them have geometric design and bold colors that are truly inspired by indigenous symbols, plants and flowers. The quality of these rugs is excellent due to the organic merino wool used to produce them. Weavers in tribal rugs use Persian knots.
